XIII Solidarity Regatta Carburo de Plata (Portman)
The Carburo de Plata Regatta in Portmán opens the regatta season in the Murcia region every year. Numerous crews from all over Spain gather here for competitive races in an impressive coastal landscape. Racing takes place against the striking backdrop of the Bay of Portmán – with reliable winds, tactically interesting courses, and a Mediterranean atmosphere.

Classic Regatta to kick off the season on the Spanish Mediterranean coast
This trip combines training and regatta participation for an intense sailing experience on a classic yacht.
Itinerary (Start & End in Alicante)
Day 1 – Arrival in Alicante
Welcome aboard the SY LILLI, safety briefing and first introduction to the yacht, crew and manoeuvres. Afterwards, we explore Alicante with a short walk through the old town.
Day 2 – Alicante → Tabarca → Santa Pola
First sailing day along the coast. We use the route for manoeuvre training: tacking, gybing, sail trimming. Swimming stop in front of Tabarca possible. Overnight stay in Santa Pola.
Day 3 – Santa Pola → Portmán
Longer leg heading south to the regatta harbour. Along the way, we train starting manoeuvres, crew coordination and sail changes – ideal preparation for the races.
Day 4–5 – Regatta Days
Participation in the official races of the Regata Carburo de Plata. Depending on the weather and the notice of race, several races per day. Active sailing is possible, but not mandatory.
Day 6 – Portmán → Alicante
Joint return sail along the coast. Relaxed sailing day after the competitive regatta days.
