XXXII Regata Illes Balears Clàssics - Vela Clásica Mallorca

One of the highlights of the international classic scene, the Vela Clásica Mallorca (part of the 'Illes Balears Clàssics') is one of the most significant classic regattas in the Mediterranean. In the bay of Palma, historic yachts, classic racers, and elegant traditional boats come together. The combination of consistent thermal winds, professional organisation, and the maritime backdrop of Palma makes this event a true highlight of the season.

Regatta experience: Racing takes place on challenging, well-organised courses in the wide bay of Palma. The conditions are ideal for competitive, fair racing – perfect for experiencing the potential of a classic yacht.

Schedule:

Monday, 9th August - Check-in from 5 PM, briefing

Tuesday, 10th August - Breakfast, sailing training, evening regatta opening event

Wednesday, 11th August - Regatta breakfast buffet, sponsors' race, regatta reception with drinks

Thursday, 12th August - Regatta breakfast buffet, regatta race, followed by regatta reception

Friday, 13th August - Regatta breakfast buffet, regatta race, followed by regatta reception with live music

Saturday, 14th August - Regatta breakfast, regatta race, evening closing event with awards ceremony & various events

Sunday, 15th August - Check-out by 11 AM

Palma as host: Palma combines royal architecture, a first-class marina, and Mediterranean lifestyle. The cathedral overlooking the harbour and the vibrant old town provide impressive evenings after the regattas.

Services

Included in the price: 6 nights in a double cabin, bedding, towels, skipper & crew, and taxes.

Additionally, a share of the onboard fund for regatta fees, diesel, drinks, final cleaning, etc. Please read the information regarding the onboard fund.
